The Library is preparing for a once-in-a-generation renovation of this beloved local institution. The first phase, the Loussac Facility Master Plan, is now underway. We need your ideas, stories and perspectives. There are several ways to have your voice heard:

Mayor Sullivan Appoints Mary Jo Torgeson as APL Director
The Foundation welcomes Ms. Torgeson to the team! Ms. Torgeson’s passion is the belief that libraries are an essential part of a vibrant and cohesive community, both in the development of creating strong partners with business, schools and community agencies as well as in the development of services that transforms people’s lives.

Wells Fargo Donation to Library Foundation
Wells Fargo is celebrating its 160th anniversary and National Library Week with a grant to support Loussac Library’s Ready to Read Resource Center, which provides free early learning and literacy workshops and book kits to childcare providers and parents across the state. Click here to learn more.
